From Sacramento and San Francisco: To the Walter A. Buehler Alumni & Visitors Center at UC Davis, take Interstate 80 and exit at U.C. Davis. Turn right on Old Davis Road if you exit west bound. Turn left on Old Davis Road if you exit east bound. Continue and turn right on Hilgard Lane and drive straight into the surface visitor parking lot. Purchase a $6.00 all-day parking pass from the bright yellow permit dispenser machine. The machine will accept cash and credit cards. Parking is free on weekends, except during special events. Walk northeast past the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for Performing Arts building to the Walter A. Buehler Alumni & Visitors Center.

The hours of operation for the Walter A. Buehler Alumni & Visitors Center: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and closed on Sunday. The campus is closed on observed holidays, which include Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day, Cesar Chavez Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and the weekend following, and winter break period approximately December 24th through January 1st.
