From Sacramento and San Francisco:
To visitor parking lot 1, take Interstate 80 and exit at U.C. Davis. Turn right on Old Davis Road if you exit west bound. Turn left on Old Davis Road if you exit east bound. Continue past the information booth and turn right onto Hilgard Lane and either turn left into the South Entry Parking Structure, or continue straight into the surface Visitor Parking Lot 1. Look for a glass booth and yellow parking permit dispenser machine to purchase your all-day parking pass during week days.
Parking costs $6.00 per day, Monday through Friday. Permit dispensers in the parking lots accept quarters, $1 bills, $5 bills, Visa or MasterCard credit cards. Parking is free on weekends and observed holidays, except during special events.
The Walter A. Buehler Alumni & Visitors Center is the building located north of the parking lot, just east of the Mondavi Center for The Performing Arts, with the blue A framed roof.
PLEASE NOTICE IF YOU ARE A BUS GROUP: If you are arriving by bus, please instruct your driver to continue past Hilgard Lane, make a left at the traffic light onto Mrak Hall Drive, drive around the Mrak Hall circle and pull in front of the Mondavi Center for The Performing Arts to drop your group off . The group will then need to walk across the street to the Alumni & Visitors Center.
Your bus driver can relocate the vehicle to the Unitrans Bus Yard until time for pick up. The tour guide or staff in the Alumni Center can provide your driver directions to the Unitrans Bus Yard to relocate the bus until your group is ready for pick up. |
